The visitors made three changes to their playing XI, while the West Indies welcomed back wicketkeeper-batter Shai Hope, who returned after missing the series opener due to injury.
Shai Hope is back; Roach is gone
Hope will replace Joshua de Silva and will also take over the wicketkeeping duties.
However, West Indies were hit by veteran fast bowler Kemar Roach who was ruled out due to a hamstring niggle. Roach reached the milestone of 300 Test wickets during the first Test.
Fast bowler Anderson Phillip came into the side in his place.
West Indies head into the match full of confidence after registering a massive innings and 217-run victory in the opening Test, their first win in eight matches in the World Test Championship.
Captain Roston Chase said he was happy to bowl first and hoped his team could repeat its performance from the first Test. He also felt that the pitch, with its grassy surface, would provide assistance to the fast bowlers in the early part of the match.

Lahiru Udara replaced opener Pathum Nissanka, while experienced left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya came in for injured pacer Lahiru Kumara.
