I can’t say that I am not getting much from Bollywood, but I have become a star in the Punjabi film industry. And that is the true truth. It is right to say log chhadte suraj ko salaam karte”.He added, “All film industries work in this way. If you are popular, people will come to you and want to cast you in their films. Main toh beautiful hoon hi aur actor bhi achchi hoon. I am getting many leading roles in Punjabi films. Another reason is that there are very few female actors there.”

He said, “I have been getting a lot of offers from Punjabi filmmakers in the last five-six years but I wasn’t happy with most of the scripts. Most of them wanted me to not do heavy things. What Shehnaaz Gill wants from Bollywood

But I want my character to be very important to the story, someone who can drive the story.
