Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Grenz shared that the actor always wanted privacy, which is why his family will have a quiet memorial soon.He added, “As Sam was a very private person who hated controversy, his family will honor him with a private family memorial at his farm in New Zealand at a date yet to be determined. I would like to thank those who were closest to Sam for thinking of his privacy and the respect he and his loved ones needed and deserved at this difficult time.”Grenz added in his statement that if fans and internet enthusiasts want to pay their respects to the player, they should give one of the many reasons Neill believed in. The ‘Peaky Blinders’ actor was well known for his charity work and environmentalism. He had his own farm, and often spoke about conservation. The statement added that this could include “any NZ charity or fund that helps sustain, protect and conserve New Zealand’s wildlife, bush and landscapes, such as the NZ Nature Fund and Sustainable Terraces.“
Four Sam Neill projects have been released since then
In the same report, his representative also confirmed that Neill had worked on at least four projects that have yet to be released. He went on to share that the services “will be rolled out in the coming months.” Two confirmed projects include the romantic drama ‘The Last Resort’, as well as his appearance in the science fiction film, ‘Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.’ No information about the other two projects has been shared online at the time of writing.
