Police searched for the man during the search
According to Thanthi TV, Ravi Mohan lodged a complaint with the Neelankarai Police after realizing that a diamond necklace and Rs 2.5 lakh cash were missing from his house on June 22. Based on the complaint, the police registered a CSR and launched an investigation. The police questioned the workers and drivers who worked at the actor’s house individually. During the investigation, suspicion reportedly fell on the driver Rajesh, leading the police to intensify their questioning.
The money was returned, the accused was sent to court
During investigation, Rajesh allegedly admitted to spending Rs 2.5 lakh. Police said the money was later returned to Ravi Mohan. Although the people recovered, the authorities were charged. The Neelankarai police arrested Rajesh on charges of theft, brought him to court, and remanded him in judicial custody. The investigation into the missing diamond necklace is expected to continue as the police examine all aspects of the case.
