MHT CET CAP admissions 2026: 53,000 students register for CAP admissions in six professional courses, CET Cell calls for early applications
MUMBAI: Over 53,000 students have so far registered for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for six professional and higher education courses for the academic year 2026-27, according to the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell.The ongoing admission process covers Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd), three-year LLB, five-year LLB, MEd and the integrated three-year BEd-MEd programme. A total of 53,017 candidates had registered till June 23.The CET Cell appealed to students appearing for the 2026 entrance exams to complete the CAP registration before the respective deadlines to avoid last-minute hassles.Among the six courses, the three-year LLB program has recorded the highest number of enrolments, with 36,395 applicants out of 69,473 candidates qualifying for the CET. The five-year LLB program continues with 11,496 registrations from 29,288 eligible candidates.Registration for three-year BPEd, MPEd and LLB admissions began on June 11 and will remain open till June 30. Applications for the MEd and BEd-MEd integrated course started on 16 June and will close on 6 July. Registration for the five-year LLB program began on June 19 and will continue until July 9.Officials advised students to upload passport size color photographs, scanned signatures and all necessary academic and supporting documents in the prescribed formats while completing the online application process.
