The Maharashtra Board conducted the supplementary exams soon after the declaration of the main board results.The SSC supplementary exams were conducted from June 16 to June 30, 2026, while the HSC supplementary exams were held from June 16 to July 8, 2026.These exams are held to help students improve their academic record without waiting for the next annual exam cycle.
Main Exam Performance in 2026
The pass percentages were good in the regular exams conducted earlier this year by the Maharashtra Board. In the SSC (Class 10) exam, the pass percentage stood at 92.09%. The total number of students who appeared for the exam was 15,42,472, out of which 14,20,486 passed the exam. The pass rate for girls in the exam was 94.96% and for boys 89.56%.In the HSC (Class 12) exam, the pass percentage was 89.79%. A total of 14,44,713 candidates appeared for the exam, and 1,433,058 appeared for the same. Across genders, girls did better than boys with a pass percentage of 93.15%, while that of boys was 86.80%.Among the streams, Science had the highest pass percentage at 96.44%, followed by Commerce at 87.03%, while Arts scored 78.02%.Students who are waiting for supplementary results have been advised to keep visiting the website after 1 PM for any updates.
