Lauren Tom reveals that her 25-year-old daughter has bone cancer
On Sunday, the actress took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself with her daughter Ellie, as well as an emotional statement revealing her cancer diagnosis. He wrote, “I wanted to share some difficult news today… This is my beautiful daughter, Ellie. He is currently battling osteosarcoma, (bone cancer) and my family and I are doing everything we can to help him recover. “He continued: “I remember the words of Fred Rogers saying, ‘When I was a boy and I saw terrible things in the news, my mother used to tell me, ‘Look for helpers. You will always find people who help you.”She ended her post by adding, “Ellie is amazing, deep, insightful, smart, strong, brave, smart, and a joy to life. Beautiful inside and out. We have a long journey ahead of us… would you please keep Ellie in your prayers for a full recovery, and maybe leave a comment for her here, or on her account? As soon as the actor shared the news online, netizens and many who work with him in the film industry reached out to share their support and love for Tom and his daughter.
