Regular results plus two: the pass percentage was 77.97%
The supplementary exam follows the declaration of the Kerala DHSE Plus Two annual exam results 2026, which were announced in May after the board exams held between March 6 and 28.This year, the State has recorded an overall pass rate of 77.97%, with 2,90,398 of the 3,72,423 students who appeared qualified for higher studies.The girls once again outperformed the boys by a wide margin. While 86.69% of female candidates passed the exam, the pass percentage among boys stood at 68.41%.
Vocational Baccalaureate cycle
In parallel to the general examinations, the state also carried out examinations for the Vocational Baccalaureate cycle. A total of 26,829 first-year and 26,826 second-year students had enrolled.The exams were conducted in 389 centres, while the answer scripts were evaluated in eight assessment fields with nearly 3,700 teachers assigned to exam duties. The assessment of the vocational route began on April 6, 2026.
A look at previous years
Kerala’s consistent performance in the high school examination has remained stable for the past three years.The overall approval percentage for the year 2025 was 77.81%. The Science category was the one that obtained the best with 83.25%, while the Commerce and Humanities categories obtained 74.21% and 69.16%, respectively.In the year 2024, there were 3,74,755 students who had appeared for the exam, out of which 2,94,888 have passed. Thus, the overall pass percentage became 78.69%. Although it was a reduction from the previous year’s 82.95%, Kerala continues to perform well among other school education boards in the country.Now, the announcement of SAY results will play a crucial role in shaping the future of undergraduate aspirants in the ongoing admission process.
