JoSAA Round 4 Seat Allocation 2026: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is scheduled to release the round 4 seat allocation result for JoSAA 2026 counseling today, 10 July 2026 at 5:00 PM IST. Candidates participating in the centralized admission process of IITs and other participating institutes will be able to check their provisional allotment status through the official JoSAA portal.Along with the allotment result, candidates can also access the opening and closing cutoff ranks of round 4. Under the revised five-round counseling schedule introduced this year, round 4 is the final opportunity for candidates to use the Float or Slide options before the final round of seat allotment.How to Check Round 4 AllotmentOnce the result link is activated, candidates can visit the JoSAA official portal and click on the “View Round 4 Seat Allotment Result” link available on the home page.Candidates will need to login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. The last date to pay the seat acceptance fee is 13th July 2026 at 5:00 PM.The seat withdrawal and exit window will remain open from July 11 to July 14, 2026. IIT allotted seat candidates who wish to withdraw must complete the process by July 14, 2026, before 5:00 PM.Available reporting optionsAfter seeing the allotment result, candidates have to select one of the available admission options. The Freeze option allows candidates to accept the allotted seat without participating in further rounds.The Float option allows candidates to retain their allocated seat while remaining eligible for a higher preference program at any participating institute. The Slide option allows candidates to apply for admission to a higher preference program within the same allotted institute.Candidates who are allotted a seat for the first time during Round 4 will have to upload the required documents including Class 10th and Class 12th Certificates and Category Certificates wherever applicable and complete payment of seat acceptance fee.Final round of counselingThe fifth and final round of JoSAA Counseling 2026 is scheduled for July 16, 2026. The final round will complete the admission process for IITs and other participating institutions under the JoSAA counseling system.
