What ETimes said about the film
ETimes, in its review of Jana Nayagan, wrote, “Jana Nayagan, Vijay’s last film, was made as a vehicle for a major political campaign for its star, and while its problems of verification may have led to its release after the elections (where Vijay doesn’t really need to be released to win the elections), it provides enough evidence.” It shows how a star can elevate an obscure script and make it work.“DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and content in this article are compiled from personal and industry sources.
