Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has started the admission process for 49 distance and online programs offered through its Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the academic session 2026-27. Interested candidates can submit their application forms through the official admission portal, admission.jmi.ac.in. The last date to submit the application is August 10, 2026.The courses will be offered through open and distance learning (ODL) and online learning (OL) modalities.This year, JMI introduced two new online programs: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biosciences and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Admission to these newly implemented courses will be based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination, followed by an interview.The university will also conduct an entrance exam for admission to the MBA (ODL) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programs. The entrance test is scheduled for August 22, 2026.

JMI CDOE 2026 admission: Selection process
Admission to most undergraduate, graduate, diploma and certificate programs will be based on merit in the qualifying examination.However, candidates applying for MBA (ODL) and B.Ed. programs will have to appear in Jamia Millia Islamia campus entrance test. The exact exam venue and time will be mentioned in the admit cards.Candidates selected for admission will receive confirmation from their registered email IDs. They will also be informed about the schedule for verification of physical documents.According to the university, document verification and fee payment will be done from 31st August to 10th September 2026. Candidates are advised to complete all the admission formalities within the prescribed schedule.
