He also explained that it is always meant to be a comedy directed by some of his favorite Bollywood actors. Since the cast included several comedians, he added, it was difficult to allocate screen time to each.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Ahmed said, “When you have strong actors like Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas, Aftab, Arshad, Akshay; you know they are the kings of comedy, inke beech mein ladkiyon ka dialogue daal ke kya hoga.”He said that everyone who went on board knew exactly what the film was about and what they wanted to do, adding that there was no confusion about the roles they had to play. Standing by his path, he said that the most important thing for a heroine is to have strong, meaningful events, and not just read too much dialogue.
