The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the 65th Campus Placement Program for newly qualified Chartered Accountants, primarily targeting candidates who have cleared the CA Final Examination held in May 2026. The placement initiative will connect eligible candidates with organizations across various sectors through a structured recruitment platform.The program has received enrollment of 6,399 newly accredited accountants out of 7,931 candidates who passed the May 2026 CA final exam. In the first phase, 78 organizations are participating and have advertised 5,339 vacancies for candidates seeking career opportunities.Practice program for 29 centersThe ICAI Campus Placement Program will provide placement opportunities in areas such as finance, taxation, auditing, consulting, risk management, analytics, banking, manufacturing and information technology.Physical interviews will be conducted at 29 centers across India during August and September 2026. Technology-based recruitment process has been introducedICAI stated that the placement program has been designed as a technology-driven platform to connect newly qualified accountants with employers. The initiative includes employer outreach activities, candidate orientation programs, psychometric and aptitude assessments, career counseling and industry-focused capacity building programs.President of ICAI CA. Prasanna Kumar D said the placement program provides a platform for major employers to hire professionally trained accountants and allows candidates to explore career opportunities in different industries and locations.Prior Placement PerformanceThe 63rd Campus Placement Program conducted during the months of April and May 2026 resulted in placements for more than 2,570 candidates.
