I only knew Marathi, I only knew Hindi, and all the NRI kids who were Indian kids around me were like, how come they don’t know English? So obviously, the bullying started.” I was so innocent. It was just because I didn’t know the language.” Remembering those days, he added: “I have been harassed. I feel it’s all about changing the noise and focusing on our goal. It will be difficult; it will hurt, but that pain will force you to grow. Honestly, without it, my English wouldn’t be so good. He wouldn’t have bullied me because of my English, would he? So I choose to see it that way. I believe that every negative in our life helps to make the positive more powerful. “
