Dressed in a long coat, top hat and a scruffy Scrooge look, Depp emerged from a shopping mall with a snowman emblazoned with the words “Scrooge and Marley”. His unexpected appearance quickly drew the crowd, with fans cheering him on as he performed for the audience. “Do you have work? It looks like you have a lot of free time. He was quoted as saying to a member of the audience, prompting laughter from the crowd.“I can say that you are all very strange people. Humbug,” said the famous line of the man, before going back inside.
The first trailer of Johnny Depp’s “Ebenezer” has dropped online
Along with the stunning visuals, Paramount Pictures unveiled the first trailer for ‘Ebenezer’, confirming that Depp will lead the film as Ebenezer Scrooge. The studio also released the first poster of the film and announced a November 13 release date.“A name you know. A story you didn’t know. @johnnydepp and Ebenezer Scrooge in #EbenezerMovie – in theaters November 13,” the studio wrote in their official statement.
About ‘Ebenezer’
Directed by renowned artist Ti West, the film promises a dark, terrifying and terrifying reinterpretation of the classic 1843 novel. Set against the backdrop of Victorian London, the adaptation follows the lonely and tragic Scrooge as he is forced to encounter the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come on a mysterious spiritual journey that challenges his worldview.
