The University of Delhi (has it) has started the enrollment process for one-year Post Graduate (PG) courses for the academic session 2026. The university has also opened applications for Master of Science (MSc) programs for candidates who have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026.Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official DU PG admission portal till 11th July 2026.Students who have qualified the GAT-B 2026 can apply for the two-year master’s degree in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology for the academic session 2026-29.
Who can apply?
The one-year postgraduate program is only available to students who have completed a four-year undergraduate (UG) degree from the University of Delhi under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022, which is based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.To complete the application process, candidates will need to enter their University of Delhi (UoD) Roll Number and Date of Birth.According to the university, admission to one-year PG courses will be based on the merit scores obtained in the four-year degree, subject to the subject-specific eligibility conditions mentioned in the admit card.
DU PG two year admission
Delhi University has so far received 9,500 applications for its two-year postgraduate programmes.The medium access center for these courses will remain open until July 5, 2026.The university will release the Round 3 seat allocation list on July 9, 2026. Seat allocations for performance-based courses, including Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd) and music programs, will also be announced on the same day.

Delhi University has also shared the latest updates on Undergraduate Admissions.According to the university, it has received 1,48,407 applications for Undergraduate (UG) 2026 admission, while 62,524 candidates have completed the Phase 2 application process.The last date to fill the course and university preferences is 11 July 2026.Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2026 first allotment list will be released on July 16 at 5 PM.This year, Delhi University offers admission to 73 undergraduate courses and 150 combinations of Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs.Delhi University has also released the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Admission Allotment List 2026. Candidates who have allotted seats should accept them before 8th July 2026.The application process for the five-year integrated law program will close on 7 July 2026.The university has also informed the students through its official X account (formerly Twitter) that the Phase 2 program selection will begin after the declaration of the 8th semester results. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of DU regularly to know the latest admission schedule and more updates.
