Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has said it is joining the youth-led protests of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) against irregularities in the NEET examination and demanding major reforms in education. His remarks follow Monday’s procession of ‘Sansad Chalo’ from Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to Parliament on the opening day of the Monsoon session, where clashes broke out between protesters and security personnel.The ongoing movement also targeted Ladakhi activists Sonam Wangchukthe face of chaos, who continues to fast indefinitely and has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital. Along with demanding reforms in education, the protestors demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the examination rigging.
Diljit Dosanjh he says that criticism will not stop him from speaking
Through several posts on Instagram Stories, Diljit urged the authorities to pay attention to students instead of suppressing their voices. The player also admitted that he expects to be called “anti-national” again for standing in public, recalling the criticism and legal problems he allegedly faced after supporting the farmers’ union for 2020-21.He wrote, “What happened today was very wrong. Students should not have been treated like this. I ask the authorities to listen to the wishes of the students. CJP’s march to Parliament has turned into controversy
Despite heavy rain, thousands of people gathered at Jantar Mantar before starting their march to Parliament. As the roads around the protest site were sealed off, groups of protesters tried to move through central Delhi using alternative routes and internal routes while trying to cross several barricades. However, Nadda reportedly asked the protestors to stop participating and cooperate with the administration.
Sonam Wangchuk rejects a long-term breakup
According to India Today, speaking from Safdarjung Hospital, Wangchuk reiterated his decision to continue the fast. He said, “Seeing the brutality of the young protestors being treated peacefully, I have decided to continue the fast until the youth leaders are allowed to meet the parliamentarians at Sansad Bhawan or I am allowed to meet them here at the hospital.”He said he was “touched and touched” by the protesters’ restraint despite what he described as repeated provocations. Wangchuk also asked the police and the government to allow students to express their concerns in Parliament.Earlier, he said that he will end the fast only if the government prepares to answer for the failure of education or if the political leaders assure him that the issue will be addressed during the Monsoon Session. Supporters continue to claim that Wangchuk is being held in “illegal detention”, a charge that authorities deny.Although protests continue in various parts of the country, the local government has not spoken publicly about the unrest. Diljit linked his latest comments to the ones he received at the 2020-2021 farmers fair. Diljit Dosanjh opens up about ‘Satluj’

In the film, the actor portrayed human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who exposed the alleged illegal killings and secret burnings that took place in Punjab during the insurgency.Regarding the project, Diljit said that he would not openly discuss several issues related to the film and its release. He said that the events depicted in ‘Satluj’ took place in 1995, when, according to him, people were not allowed to talk about them.
