BOI Credit Officer Notification 2026: Bank of India has announced 779 vacancies for the post of Credit Officer at various scales in the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream. A brief notification has been released, while the detailed recruitment notification and online application forms will be available on the bank’s official website from June 30 onwards. The online registration process will also start on the same day.The recruitment campaign is aimed at experienced credit professionals. As per the short notification released on 28th June, eligible graduate candidates will be able to apply for the advertised posts after the release of the detailed notification. The full notification will include further eligibility conditions and other recruitment guidelines.Recruitment details and selection processRecruitment is going on for Loan Officer Posts in MMGS-II, MMGS-III and SMGS-IV Grades. The selection process will include an online test and/or an interview, depending on the number of eligible applicants and candidates.The online exam will consist of 150 questions carrying 150 marks. A quarter point penalty will be applied for each incorrect answer. Salary of selected candidates will range from Rs. 64,820 to Rs. 1,02,300.Eligibility and age criteriaFor MMGS-II and MMGS-III posts, candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 60 percent marks, or 55 percent for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates, from a recognized university or institute. Candidates with CA, CFA, CMA-ICWA, MBA, PGDBM or a two-year postgraduate degree in Banking, Finance or a credit-related discipline are also eligible.For SMGS-IV posts, candidates must have graduation with prescribed marks along with MBA, PGDBM, two years full time Masters in any discipline or CA, CFA or CMA-ICWA qualifications from a recognized institution.The prescribed age limit is 25 to 35 years for MMGS-II, 28 to 38 years for MMGS-III and 30 to 40 years for SMGS-IV.Application and registration feeThe online application window will open on June 30. The last date to apply, fee payment schedule and last date to print the application form will be announced in the detailed notification.Candidates belonging to General and other category have to pay an application fee of Rs. 850, including summons charges. Applicants from SC, ST and PWD categories have to pay Rs. 175 only for intimation charges. Category wise vacancy distribution and project number will be informed in the detailed recruitment advertisement.
