The Department of Technical Education (DTE), Andhra Pradesh has started the first phase of counseling for the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2026. Candidates who qualified in the entrance test can now participate in the counseling process for admission to diploma courses offered by public and private polytechnics across the state for the academic session 2026-27.Eligible candidates can complete the counseling process through the official website, polycetap.ap.gov.in. The admission process includes candidate registration, fee payment, certificate verification, web option entry, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted institute.

Who can participate?
Candidates who have qualified AP POLYCET 2026 and fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria for diploma admission in polytechnic institutions of Andhra Pradesh can participate in the counseling process.Admissions will be offered based on candidates’ rankings, reservation rules, options filled during online options entry and seat availability at participating universities.
How to Apply for AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the counseling process:
- Visit the official website at polycetap.ap.gov.in.
- Complete candidate registration and pay counseling fee online.
- Upload the required documents for verification.
- Attend certificate verification at designated Help Center if required.
- Enter the web options by selecting your preferred universities and diploma courses.
- Modify or rearrange the options during the Edit Options window, if necessary.
- Check 6th July 2026 Seat Allotment Result.
- Complete the self-report and report to the assigned university within the specified dates.
Documentation required for advice
Candidates must have the following documents ready before starting registration and certificate verification:

AP POLYCET Phase 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026 will be declared on 6th July 2026. Candidates who get a seat should complete both self report and report to allotted college between 7th to 10th July 2026.The new academic session is scheduled to begin on July 7, 2026.
