AP POLYCET 2026 Final Phase Counseling Begins; Qualified candidates can apply till 18th July

The registration process for AP POLYCET 2026 phase 2 (final phase) counseling has started today, 16 July 2026. Qualified candidates who could not participate in the first phase or failed to get a seat earlier can now complete the online counseling process through the official AP POLYCET counseling portal.Candidates participating in the final phase must complete the processing fee payment, certificate verification and web option entry within the scheduled time. Candidates have to complete each stage within the specified time limit to continue to qualify for seat allotment.Steps to Complete AP POLYCET Phase 2 Counseling RegistrationCandidates can follow these steps to participate in the final stage:• Pay Processing Fee: Candidates need to login to the counseling portal using their hall ticket number and rank details. The processing fee can be paid through net banking, credit card or debit card.• Complete Certificate Verification: Candidates must complete online certificate verification. Those whose documents are not verified online will have to visit a designated Helpline Center (HLC) with the required certificates.• Enter Web Options: After verification, candidates can log in and select their preferred colleges and polytechnic offices. Candidates are advised to enter multiple options to improve their chances of getting a seat.AP POLYCET 2026 Exam StatisticsThe AP POLYCET 2026 exam witnessed the participation of approximately 1.63 lakh students. Of these, 1,48,950 candidates qualified for admission, registering a pass percentage of 91.37%.For candidates in the OC and BC categories, the minimum qualifying mark is 36 out of 120, which is equivalent to 30%. There is no minimum qualification requirement for SC and ST candidates.Expected Phase 2 cutoff trends and seat availabilityAP POLYCET Phase 2 Counseling 2026 closing ranks are expected to vary by branch, college and reservation category. Government polytechnics may see a closure of ranks ranging from around 1,500 to over 60,000.Compared to Phase 1, Phase 2 cutoffs are expected to be more relaxed by 15% to 30% as seats become available due to withdrawals, non-reporting candidates and unpaid admission fees.Computer Engineering (CSE) continues to be one of the most competitive branches.
