The cancellation came soon after KVN Productions confirmed that Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ will release on July 23. Sharing an update on X, GV Prakash wrote, “Thalapathy vandha thalli poyi dhaaney aaganum adhuvum One Last time…. All the best, JN team… #immortal will be released in theaters on September 4 with the help of your love.” His message went viral, with many fans praising Vijay’s performance and wishing him all the best for the film.

‘Immortal’ is described as a fantasy adventure set within a single building. The trailer shows a boy, played by GV Prakash, who dreams of getting closer to his neighbor, portrayed by Kayadu Lohar.
