India opener Abhishek Sharma etched his name into the record books during the first T20I against England, becoming the fastest batsman to hit 100 sixes in T20 Internationals in Full Member countries. With India under pressure, Abhishek launched an incredible attack, taking on England’s bowlers from the start to keep the innings going and scoring a brilliant half-century in just 20 balls. England finally ended Abhishek Sharma’s explosive knock as Sam Curran was trapped by the left-hander LBW on 59 off 24 balls. Initially appearing to drift down the leg side, England reviewed the on-field decision, and ball tracking confirmed that the delivery fell on the leg stump.
