Ajay Devgn’s ‘Dhamaal 4’ continues to do well at the box office, having ended its opening weekend with positive reviews. Directed by Indra Kumarthe film crossed Rs. 100 crore home net mark by Day 9, it is the comedy franchise’s nostalgia factor that keeps the audience thronging the theatres.
‘Dhamaal 4’ faces stiff competition from ‘The Odyssey’
The real problem, however, arrived at the end of the second week, with the highly anticipated epic of Christopher Nolan ‘The Odyssey’, which was released worldwide on July 17, 2026, taking on high-quality formats such as IMAX and large screens. Although the two films have different audience segments, Nolan’s release resulted in more audiences and more episodes of the show ‘Dhamaal 4’.
Dhamaal 4 opening week and what happens in the first week
‘Dhamaal 4’ debuted with a solid Rs. 14 crore on Day 1, before climbing over the weekend to Rs. 22.50 crore on Day 2 and the best gross of Rs. 28.50 crore on Sunday (Day 3). Monday brought the expected decline to Rs. 8.75 crore, but the film held steady for the rest of the week, earning Rs. 9.50 crore on Day 5 and Rs. 6.75 crore on Day 6.
Dhamaal Day 4’s Day 7 and Day 8 numbers
Collections slowed down on Day 7, coming in at Rs. 6 crore nett, which represents a decline of 11.1% from the previous day. This pushed the total Indian currency to Rs. 96.00 crore and an all India total of up to Rs. 114.49 million. On the overseas front, the film grossed Rs. 1.00 crore on Day 7, taking overseas up to Rs. 18.25 crore and international funds up to Rs. 132.74 crore by the end of Week 1. The film also performed on Day 8 and, earning Rs. 5.35 crore nett across 8,154 shows nationwide, a slight decline of 10.8% from Rs. 6.00 crore was collected yesterday.
Dhamaal 4’s Day 9 Collection
According to Sacnilk, ‘Dhamaal 4’ dropped on Day 9, collecting Rs. 2.49 crore across 4,441 screens across the country, taking the all-India gross to Rs. 103.99 crore (with revenue of Rs. 123.97 crore).
