Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker: expressed concern over students protesting against alleged exam paper leaks, saying that every child deserves access to education, safety and a fair chance in life.In a post on social media, the Indian shooter said the issue is more than politics and called for accountability to protect the future of students.“At this point, it’s about the lives of the future of our country. It’s about us,” wrote Bhaker.“I am a student, and at some point, we are all students. Every child deserves access to education, safety, and a fair chance in life. These are not privileges – these are basic rights.”Referring to the students and children who lost their lives, Bhaker said they deserve a better future.“They are meant to be the future of our country,” he wrote, adding that “their dreams, their potential, and their future must be protected.”Bhaker also said that the matter should not be viewed through a political lens and urged people to focus on issues that affect everyone.“It’s not about promoting or opposing any political party. It’s about speaking up for what’s really important — education, the environment, safety, and accountability. These issues affect each of us, regardless of our beliefs,” he said.The Olympic medalist said he was saddened to see students facing such conditions and emphasized that they deserve better.“I’m very proud to represent my country.
