A player Deepak Parambol recently opened up about the tragic accident that happened while shooting for ‘Varavu’, a drama directed by Shaji Kailas and the subject of Joju George. The film hit theaters on July 16.In a recent interview with Red FM Malayalam, Deepak looked back on the incident and revealed that he escaped what could have been serious injuries during the shooting. The actor said that the accident happened while he was filming a scene of a moving jeep.
Deepak Parambol says the jeep overturned while turning
Narrating the incident, Deepak said he was hanging from the back of the jeep when the accident took place. “The accident happened while we were filming one of the scenes. The jeep overturned. After watching the video, I realized that I was lucky to survive. Otherwise, I would have been hit badly. I was pinned to the back of the jeep. As he was turning, the car overturned.”The actor explained that the photo made him realize that he was about to be seriously injured. According to him, the car suddenly overturned while negotiating a turn during the traffic jam.Deepak said that none of the people were seriously injured, although a few suffered minor injuries. “No one was seriously injured. There were minor injuries, but by the grace of God, nothing major happened. My head must have hit the ground. When the jeep was rolling, it was as if everything had suddenly gone slow. At that moment, I jumped. I was left with only minor injuries on my knee and hand. The jeep rolled at high speed. At that time, I don’t know… maybe it was a habit to save myself. Otherwise, my head would hit the ground. “The player said he escaped with minor injuries to his knee and hand. ‘Varavu’ opens with low box office
According to a report by Filmibeat, ‘Varavu’ collected Rs 51 lakh in India on its opening day. The film also showed that it was well pre-booked before its theatrical release. According to the statistics shared on the Cine Times X website, Varavu sold around 10.31K tickets during the pre-booking period. It also added 25.58K ticket sales on its opening day. This took the total ticket sales to 35.89K.
