Tom Cruise knew his priorities by playing the role of an eccentric oil baron, who tries to convince the world that he is the ultimate savior from the crisis he created. At a press conference at Warner Bros. in Burbank, the actress said, per Entertainment Weekly, “My job is: I’m moved, moved, moved. With the body, we’re communicating a story… I want people to enter the story,” before adding, “When we’re looking at the characters, how do we look at the drama, how do we create the drama?”

Commenting on the type of clothing and the type of fabric, she recalled all the choices she considered, saying, “[The] a type of cowboy boots. What are my shorts? Sets, type of set. They are beautiful on every level… You are looking at this man’s taste. It’s very special,” adding that he also wore false teeth to complete the character.
