Actor and producer Sohum Shah has officially confirmed Alia Bhatt‘Entering the world of ‘Tumbbad 2’, is making one of the biggest announcements of the much-anticipated sequel. The actor revealed the news through social media by sharing several pictures with Alia, welcoming her to the dark universe that got cult status with the original film. Alia’s addition comes after the makers had already confirmed it Nawazuddin Siddiquihe is throwing.

Sohum Shah took to Instagram to introduce Alia Bhatt as the newest member of the Tumbbad universe. The actor shared pictures featuring the two against a red background, which shows the dark and mysterious world that awaits the audience. Sharing the pictures, Sohum wrote, “A new chapter is underway. Welcome to #Tumbbad2, @aliaabhatt. #PralayAayega. See you in the movies.”Following the announcement, Alia Bhatt also shared her excitement about joining the sequel. The actress expressed her happiness at being a part of the immersive world created by the creators. He wrote, “Tumbbad has been with me since I first watched it. ‘Tumbbad 2’ expands on the mythology of Hastar

Directed by Adesh Prasad, Tumbbad 2 will continue to explore the mythology surrounding the cursed god Hastar.
