The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has started the registration process for admission to Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering and Biotechnology programs for the academic session 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org till 25th July 2026.The admission process is open for various degree programs including Bachelor of Science (Hons) Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (Hons) Horticulture, Bachelor of Science (Hons) Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc), Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Business Management and other agriculture related courses.The CET Cell has also invited applications for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs in Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology.As per the official notification, these four-year professional degree programs are offered in nine faculties of four agricultural universities in Maharashtra. A total of 17,586 places are available for first-year admissions in 195 agricultural colleges across the state.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must upload all the required documents and certificates while submitting the online application form.For admission to Agricultural Engineering, the established entrance test criteria will apply. For all other degree programs in agriculture, candidates can apply for admission based on their scores in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), depending on the eligibility requirements for the respective course.However, the CET Cell noted that the NEET 2026 results are yet to be declared. To ensure that the admission process starts on time, the authority has released only the provisional admission schedule for now.

- Definitive merit list
- Seat matrix
- Admissions award round
- Centralized admission rounds
- Admission rounds at university level
- Admissions at institutional level
will be announced after the declaration of NEET 2026 results.Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline and check the official website regularly for more updates about the admission process.
