The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has started the registration process for Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) Counseling 2026-27. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official counseling portal.The registration period will remain open until July 24, 2026, until 5 p.m. Candidates who want to participate in the admission process can complete their registration at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in.As per the official schedule, candidates can upload their documents and complete the verification process from 11th July to 25th July 2026. The provisional merit list will be released on July 28, while the final merit list will be released on August 3, 2026.Candidates who find any mistake in the provisional merit list can submit their complaints between 29th July to 31st July 2026. Allotment of seats will be done based on candidate’s TAC MHMCT CET 2026 rank and collegial preferences filled during counselling.

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration process:

- Register with your name, email id and mobile number.
- Sign in with the generated app ID and password.
- Complete the advice request form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Necessary documents
Candidates must have the following documents ready during application:
- Secondary Education Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 Mark Sheet

Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for admission to the first-year MHMCT program must meet the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Must have completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) or an equivalent program with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability (PwD) must have secured at least 45% marks.
- Must have scored non-zero in MAH MHMCT 2026 Common Entrance Test (CET).
Sponsored candidates must also have at least two years of full-time work experience in a registered company, industry, educational or research institution, government department or autonomous organization in the relevant field.
