It’s just the two of us in our safe, wearing night suits and pajamas. “The wedding festivities began with a pre-wedding reception at 38 Manhattan, a library-themed space atop St. Regis Mumbai. “It’s all wood, shutters and open windows. It can only fit about 120 people,” said Akansha.For the occasion, she chose a romantic dusty pink creation Manish Malhotrafeaturing a tube top, a shimmering fishtail skirt and a sheer dupatta. “I wanted to be romantic and feminine. I didn’t want anything too loud,” she explained.Sharan teamed up with a burgundy Manish Malhotra dress paired with black pants. Her engagement was one of the three that Karan Johar gave her during the wedding celebrations. After an evening of festivities and dancing, guests were treated to a hearty breakfast – a 3 am dinner of Maggi and French fries.
