Registrations for AIAPGET 2026 begin

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online registration process for All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their application forms through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/aiapget till 30 July 2026 at 11:50 PM.AIAPGET is conducted by NTA on behalf of Ministry of AYUSH, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National Commission for Homeopathy (NCH). The entrance examination is conducted for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (DM) programs in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy under All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota.As per the official schedule, candidates can pay the application fee online till 11:59 PM on 30th July 2026. The application correction window will remain open from 1st August to 2nd August 2026.AIAPGET 2026 exam will be held on August 22, 2026 (Saturday) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The test will consist of 120 multiple choice questions (MCQ) with a total of 480 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes. The exam will be held in about 122 cities in the country.The question paper will be available in different languages ​​depending on the course. Ayurveda will be offered in Hindi and English, Homeopathy in English only, Siddha in Tamil and English and Unani in Urdu and English.The NTA has introduced several measures to strengthen the examination process. Candidates are advised to complete Aadhaar based authentication while filling the application form. They will also need to upload a live photo during registration in addition to a passport size photo. Candidates applying for the category of Persons with Reference Disability (PwBD) through Unique Disability Identifier (UDID) must upload the required details during the application process.The agency has advised candidates to submit only one application form as multiple applications will lead to rejection. Applicants must also ensure that the uploaded photograph, live photograph and signature meet the prescribed specifications. They are advised to keep their registered email id and mobile number active throughout the admission process and complete the application well before the deadline to avoid last minute technical issues.Admit Card and City Advance Notice Sheet delivery dates will be announced later on the official website.
