Delhi EWS 2026 Admission: Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) has conducted the Computerized Lottery Draw for Delhi EWS/DG 2nd Round Admission 2026 today, 10th July 2026. The draw was held at 11:00 AM at DoE Conference Hall, Old Secretariat for admission to entry level classes under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Section (DG) categories.After the lottery process is over, the department is getting ready to release the formal merit list online. Selected candidates will be able to check their allotted schools through the official admission portals and receive further instructions for the next stage of admission.How to check the result of the awardParents and guardians can access second round allotment details through Delhi DoE admissions website and EduDel portal. The department will upload the merit list which can be downloaded in PDF containing the details of selected candidates.The DoE will also send SMS alerts to the registered mobile numbers of the shortlisted candidates. The message will include details of the assigned school and instructions on other admission procedures.Delhi EWS/DG Admission Lottery Result Paper 2025-26 includes around 5000 shortlisted candidates and has been prepared as a 123-page PDF list.Steps to find names in merit listParents can search for their child’s name in the PDF using the search function. Windows users can press “Ctrl+F” while Mac users can use “Cmd+F” to locate details quickly.It is recommended to use the registration number during the search to ensure accurate identification of the candidate. The allotment list contains the necessary data for candidates to proceed with the admission process.Documents required for verificationCandidates selected through the second round draw will have to prepare the documents for physical verification at the designated centers.Parents must have family income certificates, proof of residence and category certificates ready for submission. The allotment letter or SMS notification will provide details about the allotted school and the verification process.Process for the rest of the vacant placesCandidates who do not find their names in the second round list may have a chance in another lottery process, depending on the availability of vacant seats.The DoE may conduct a third computerized lottery draw for the remaining seats using the existing records, without requiring fresh applications from the candidates. There will be more updates about the vacant seats and admission procedures through the portal of Directorate of Education, Delhi.
