UPTET 2026 Answer Key: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the UPTET Provisional Answer Key 2026 on its official website, which allows candidates to check the draft answers for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The commission also activated the online objection feature on July 8, allowing candidates to report discrepancies in the provisional answer key.Candidates who have appeared for the exam can download the answer key of their respective papers, compare the recorded answers and estimate their likely scores. The objection period will remain available till July 14, after which the commission will scrutinize all the representations before issuing the final answer key. The final version will be used to prepare UPTET Result 2026.Answer key available for both the papersThe provisional answer key has been released for the candidates who have appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can download the relevant PDF, match their answers with the master answer key and calculate their expected marks before the declaration of results.To access the answer key, candidates need to visit the official website of UPESSC, locate the answer key section, select the appropriate paper and download the PDF. They should match the answers according to the code in the question booklet, including set A, B, C or D. The claim process is open until July 14Candidates who identify any error in the provisional answer key can raise objections through the online portal only. Offline submissions sent by post, fax, email or any other means will not be considered.To file an objection, candidates need to log in with their registration number and date of birth, select the relevant exam details, identify the question they want to challenge and upload the supporting documents. The commission has asked candidates to provide evidence from recognized academic sources, including NCERT and SCERT textbooks, before submitting their claims. Candidates should also save the confirmation receipt generated after successful submission.Marking scheme and next stageEach correct answer is given a mark, while incorrect and unanswered questions receive no marks. There is no negative mark in the exam. The commission has also indicated that the scores will undergo a normalization process because the exam was conducted in several shifts.The qualification requirement remains 90 marks out of 150 for general category candidates and 82 marks for OBC, SC, ST, PwD and ex-serviceman candidates. After reviewing all the objections, the UPESSC will release the final answer key, followed by the announcement of the UPTET Result 2026. Qualified candidates will receive the UPTET Eligibility Certificate as per the set validity norms.
