Gujarat HSC Science Supplementary Result 2026: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar has declared the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Science Stream Supplementary Examination 2026, with an overall pass percentage recorded at 27.36%. The supplementary exam gave students who failed the February-March 2026 board exams another chance to get their Higher Secondary Certificate.Board data shows that 18,549 candidates had registered for the exam, while 16,120 students appeared for it. Of these, 4,411 candidates successfully qualified to receive the HSC certificate.

More than 18,500 students were enrolled

The supplementary exam saw the participation of thousands of students from all over Gujarat who tried to improve their board exam results.

Group A beats Group B

Among the three science groups, Group A recorded the best performance with a pass percentage of 32.29%, well ahead of Group B, which recorded 25.85%. Group AB recorded the lowest success rate at 14.29%, although the number of candidates in this category remained very small.

Girls outnumber boys in mainstream

The gender analysis reveals that girls achieved higher pass percentages than boys in both groups A and B. In Group A, girls achieved a pass percentage of 35.46%, outperforming boys, who recorded 31.39%. Similarly, in group B, girls achieved 28.50%, compared to 22.42% of boys.Group AB had a very limited participation, with two boys qualifying while none of the four girls appearing in the category passed the exam.
