WBJEE 2026 Counselling: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the complete counseling schedule for WBJEE 2026 admissions in Engineering, Technology and Architecture degree programmes. Eligible candidates can register for the counseling process from June 30, and the first phase of registration, fee payment and selection filling will remain open till July 5.The counseling process will facilitate admission to government, government aided and self-financed (private) institutions across West Bengal. Candidates will have to complete the registration, pay the counseling fee and submit their preferred choices within the stipulated time to be considered for seat allotment.
Enrollment, the selection process begins
As per the schedule released by the board, the counseling portal will remain open from June 30 to July 5, 2026, for candidate registration, fee payment and option filling. During the same period, applicants will also be able to modify and block their options before the deadline.The results of the first round of seat allotment will be declared on July 7, 2026.Candidates for the first round allotted seats will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission between July 7-11, 2026, if they do not opt for upgrade or get their first choice institution.
Second round of counseling
The board will reopen the counseling portal for the second round of registration and fresh election from July 13 to July 17, 2026.Second round seat allotment result will be announced on 21st July 2026.Newly awarded candidates must complete seat acceptance, report to assigned institutions for document verification and admission, or exercise withdrawal option, between July 21 and July 23, 2026.
The third round offers another opportunity
Candidates who remain unallocated or who wish to participate further, will get another chance during the third round of counselling.The new registration and third round election will be conducted from July 24 to July 26, 2026. The third round seat allotment result will be released on July 28, 2026.Candidates who get new allotments in the final round have to pay the seat acceptance fee and complete document verification and admission to their allotted institutes between 28th July to 30th July 2026.
