A nine-year-old cricketer from England achieved a remarkable feat during a local match by taking six wickets in six balls, leaving his teammates, family and coaches celebrating his achievement.Rohan, who plays for the under-nine team at Great Shelford Cricket Club near Cambridge, completed a double hat-trick during the match against Histon on Sunday, reported the BBC.The young bowler dismissed six batters with six consecutive deliveries, finishing with figures of 6 for 0. His spell helped Great Shelford secure a 26-run victory.Rohan said the celebrations after his last wicket were unforgettable.“It was so loud,” he said, as quoted by the BBC, recalling how everyone cheered and ran onto the field after the last wicket.For his performance, Rohan received the ball of the match and was named player of the match. The youngster said he played cricket for his school team and Great Shelford.Talking about taking six wickets in six balls, he added. “It rarely happens.”His father, Narain, said that seeing his son achieve success on Father’s Day made the occasion even more special.“Taking a wicket is a big achievement for someone so young, but wicket after wicket I am very proud,” said Narain while talking to the BBC.Team coach and match umpire Vishal Gupta said he had a full view of the spell.“I have the best seat in the house,” Gupta said. “I took my umpire’s hat and threw him in the air with his team.
