Re NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key – See the link to check and raise objections
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for Re NEET UG 2026 re-examination conducted on June 21 on Thursday. Along with the answer key, the agency has also opened the answer key challenge window for the candidates.According to a public notice issued by NTA, candidates can challenge the provisional answer key online from June 25 to 28 by paying a processing fee of Rs 200 per question. The fee will be refunded in full if the panel of experts accepts a challenge.Explaining the decision, NTA said it has started the process of challenging the answer keys at the same time as the release of the provisional answer keys, though the scanning of the OMR answer sheets is still in progress.“This has been done deliberately, in the interest of transparency, so that every candidate has a quick and open opportunity to review the provisional answer keys of all four sets and to mark any question which, in their opinion, deserves a fresh look,” the agency said.NTA said that by allowing expert review of challenges to begin along with OMR scanning, instead of waiting for the scanning process to complete, it aims to release the final answer key and declare the result as soon as possible.Candidates have also been advised to attempt the questions only with their own question paper serial code, which is printed on the cover of the test booklet which is taken home after the examination. NTA said that if a challenge is accepted, the correction will be applied uniformly to all candidates across the four sets of questions.Once the challenge window closes, all objections will be reviewed by subject matter experts. If a challenge is found correct, the provisional answer key will be revised and the final answer key will be used to evaluate the answers and prepare the results.“The answer key finalized after the challenge will be treated as final. No challenge/complaint will be entertained in respect of the answer keys after the close of the challenge/result declaration window,” the notice said.
