TS PGECET phase 1 counseling schedule 2026 out; Registration will begin on July 2
Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the counseling schedule for Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2026. Candidates can check the complete counseling schedule on the official website, pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in.As per the schedule, the phase 1 registration process will start on July 2, 2026. The counseling process will include online registration, payment of counseling fee, certificate verification, web option entry, seat allotment and reporting to allotted institutes.Candidates who want admission to pharmacy courses can participate in the counseling process based on their TS PGECET 2026 scores. For engineering programs, both TS PGECET qualified candidates and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) qualified candidates are eligible to apply.

How to participate TS PGECET 2026 counseling
Candidates will need to complete the following steps during the admission process:
- Online registration through the official counseling portal.
- Pay the established advisory fee.
- Upload the certificates required for verification.
- Attend physical verification if you are applying for a special category.
- Exercise web options by selecting your preferred universities and courses.
- Edit the options during the fix window, if necessary.
- Check allotment result after seat allotment.
- Inform the assigned institute and complete the admission procedures.
Eligibility Criteria for TS PGECET Counseling 2026
Candidates must fulfill the following conditions to participate in the counseling process:
- Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Candidates must belong to Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
- They must meet the local or non-local status requirements prescribed by the admission rules.
- Candidates must have secured at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories must have secured minimum 45 percent marks in the qualifying examination.
Only candidates who fulfill all eligibility requirements will be considered for admission through TS PGECET 2026 counseling process.After the completion of each counseling round, TGCHE will release the TS PGECET cut off ranks.
