A few days after suffering a heart attack from skipping his weekend concert at the opening ceremony of FIFA, Rod Stewart he even took to the stage at one of his recent concerts. However, according to recent reports shared online, the popular singer almost fainted in front of everyone and had to pause the event to recover.

According to recently released TMZ reports, the singer took the stage to his fans at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater in West Valley City. In the middle of his work, however, he was forced to take a break and stop the event. It appeared that Stewart appeared to be in pain while performing and had to step back to get a breather given to him in the middle of the show.The published footage was also shared online, which showed the singer doubled over as crew rushed to get him an oxygen tank. For the rest of the concert, Stewart sat in a chair on stage and performed his songs in the same manner. While on stage, he also cracked several jokes about his health with fans and canceling the concert.

The news comes after the former star canceled many of his shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In his speech he mentioned that the doctors had ordered him to rest a lot, and that he would resume the show. Not only that, but some dates in Nevada and California have also been canceled and rescheduled until further notice from the singer.He had sent an official message online to fans, saying, “I’m sorry, my friends. I’m disappointed and I sincerely apologize for any trouble to my fans. I’ll be back on stage, and we’ll see you soon – Sir Rod (heartbroken emoji)”.On top of that, just a few days back, Stewart was set to perform on June 12; however, a few hours before the concert, when fans began to gather at the venue, he announced that he would not be able to perform. A statement on social media from his team read, “on the advice of his doctors and after being diagnosed with an upper lung infection that caused laryngitis, he will not be able to ride tonight.“A few hours later, fans were outraged when he posted a video from a private jet with his two sons, talking about how he can’t miss the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup and watch his favorite team on the pitch. Many fans and netizens called him out for his reckless behavior. Many doubted whether he was really sick enough to cancel the concert, but he did not stop his visit to the FIFA stadium.
