The recruitment drive aims to fill 660 jobs across multiple engineering disciplines and specialties through a computer-based test without an interview phase.Recruitment details and breakdown of vacanciesThe 660 vacancies are distributed among the Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Electronics and Communication, Geology, Industrial Engineering, Rajbhasha and Company Secretarial disciplines. The biggest intake is in Electrical with 221 posts followed by Civil with 178 and Mechanical with 145 posts. The system has 43 posts, Electronics and Communication 38, Geology 15, Industrial Engineering 11, Rajbhasha 05 and Company Secretary 04.Eligibility Age Limit and Application FeeApplicants must have B.Tech or degree in relevant discipline as specified in the notification. Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 30th April 2026 with relaxation applicable as per rules. The application fee is Rs 1180 for General, OBC and EWS candidates while SC, ST, PwBD and CIL employees are exempted. The fee includes 1000 plus GST Rs.180 and must be paid online.Selection process and CBT patternSelection will be based solely on computer based test followed by document verification and medical examination. Paper-I includes General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and English Language. Paper-II covers professional knowledge related to the relevant discipline. Each paper includes 100 questions and 100 marks with a duration of three hours and no negative marking. The exam will be bilingual in English and Hindi with the prescribed marks.Salary and bond detailsSuccessful candidates will receive a pay scale of 60,000 to 180,000 in grade E-1 with a starting salary of 60,000. The allowances include dearness allowance, HRA, performance related pay, medical facilities and pension benefits as per company rules.
