NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli: named in India’s ODI squad for the upcoming tour of England after missing the Afghanistan series due to injury. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad on Sunday. But, Virat Kohli:His participation in the much-anticipated ODI series is subject to fitness clearance.India will play three ODIs against England at Edgbaston (July 14), Sophia Gardens (July 16) and Lord’s (July 19).Jasprit Bumrah is also back in the ODI setup. The fast bowler was rested for the one-off Test and the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan as part of BCCI’s workload management plan.Kohli suffered a hamstring injury during the final of IPL 2026 and was later ruled out of the ODI series against Afghanistan.All-rounder Axar Patel returned to the ODI squad after missing the Afghanistan series. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mohammed Siraj were left out of the squad for the England tour.Gurnoor Brar retained his place in the squad.
