The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the examination schedule for the written test scheduled on August 2, 2026 for the recruitment of civil police posts under the Kalyana Karnataka cadre. The authority announced the change on July 29, 2026, following requests from candidates regarding travel between exam centres.As per the revised schedule, the afternoon exam, which was earlier scheduled from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, will now be held from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Keeping these concerns in mind, the authority decided to revise the examination schedule in the interest of the candidates.The revised schedule is applicable only for the written examination for the recruitment of Civil Police Constable in Kalyana Karnataka cadre. Exam patternThe written exam will consist of 100 questions with a total of 100 marks. The paper will cover General Knowledge, General Science, Geography, History, Constitution of India, Indian National Movement, Mental Ability, General Studies and Moral Education.KEA has advised candidates to keep the revised reporting time in mind and make travel arrangements accordingly. The authority also clarified that the other provisions of the recruitment notification issued on June 5, 2026 remain unchanged.Candidates are advised to visit KEA official website regularly for any other announcement related to recruitment process or exam schedule.
