Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala is expected to release the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) / Improvement Result 2026 shortly. Students who have appeared for the supplementary tests conducted by DHSE will be able to access their provisional admit cards through the official result portals after activating the result link.SAY / Improvement exams were conducted for students who wanted to improve their grade or clearly failed subjects to continue their academic progression. The theoretical tests were carried out from 29 June to 3 July 2026, after the practical tests carried out on 11 and 12 June 2026.How to check the result once publishedStudents can check their provisional results through the Kerala HSE result portal by selecting the HSE SAY / Improvement Examination 2026 Result link. They must enter their registration number and date of birth to access the dashboard. After submitting the details, students can view and download their provisional mark sheet.The result link will also be available through KITE Kerala Results and Kerala Results NIC portals. Students having difficulty accessing the websites due to heavy traffic can use the official mobile apps of PRD LIVE and Saphalam. Revised scorecards will also be available through DigiLocker. The final paper mark sheet will be issued by the respective schools.Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam Cycle TimelineThe regular Kerala Plus Two board exams were conducted from 6th to 28th March 2026 and the results were announced on 26th May 2026. Students could register for the SAY / Improvement exams from 1st to 3rd June 2026. The hall tickets for the supplementary exams were released on 26th June.Board Exam Performance DetailsMarch 2026 Plus Two board exams featured 4,52,437 students in Kerala. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 77.97%, showing a marginal increase over the previous year’s 77.81%. A total of 30,561 students achieved A+ grades in all subjects.Among the streams, Science recorded the highest pass percentage with 84.52%, followed by Commerce with 74.74% and Humanities with 66.38%. Humanities had the highest proportion of students sitting the SAY exams after the stream recorded a failure rate of over 33%.Performance data in streams and districtsFemale students recorded a pass percentage of 86.89%, while male students recorded 68.41%. Idukki emerged as the district with the highest overall pass average, while Kasaragod recorded the lowest overall percentage and increased participation in supplementary examinations.Passing criteria for the SAY resultStudents must score a minimum of 30% in an individual theory paper to clear the subject through the SAY examination. Those with a grade below a D+ grade, which includes grades between 30 and 39, will not meet the eligibility requirements for higher education entry channels.
