Over the past few years, the Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has been open about his love for sports of all kinds. Not only that, but he shares his thoughts on things honestly on his blog. In one of his recent posts on the Internet, Bachchan talked about the FIFA World Cup, specifically Argentina vs. England, and what it’s like for coaches.

Taking to his online blog, the legendary player explained the nature of FIFA and how victory lies in the hands of the team’s coaches. He wrote, “When you get to the end of the tournament and there are 4 teams left to compete against each other .. it’s hard to predict….. prediction follows your love and your preferences …. but the truth seems to me that at the moment we are fighting with 44 players.. semi final to final .. 11 each team …. and every player in this tournament is a SUPER STAR!!”He also stressed the importance of how the players are managed by their coaches on the field even though all the players on the winning line are “superstars”. He added in his post, “You can’t change their attitude as a football player.. BUT.. what is needed is how to take care of them… and here comes the Coach, the Manager.. so for the FINAL on Sunday early morning IST 12:30 am, it will be a competition between the Spanish Coach and the Argentine Coach...the one who will organize the game is the one who will make the decision…he will organize it…the players have to do it.”He concluded his work by adding, “It will be seen by the other and prepare accordingly… a very interesting situation… in the last 3 minutes of the Eng v Argentina game the coach of Arg replaced the player with a Striker… to attack.. instead of sending a defender to protect the draw and play extra time hoping to get a victory… but it was a smart move… Dangerous, but the result proved it.”Big B has been honest about his views on FIFA in the past few days. A few days ago, he posted another blog about the big match, specifically about the “unfair elections” taking place at the FIFA World Cup 2026.He responded at the time, “The consequences of time and the concept of time have gone wrong.. that’s why it’s WC 2026.. real times are strange and make our days worse.. but we see that we are happy that we are sad.. they will reach the crisis of WC.. it’s amazing.. but excited by the fact that those we never thought of will fight and be recognized. They keep saying ‘the best team will win’.. but we won’t know who the best team is until the results are out.
