KEA Releases UGCET 2026 First Round Provisional Seat Allotment; check the result and the objection process

KEA Seat Allocation 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional results of the first round of seat allotment for UGCET 2026 admissions to professional courses including engineering. Candidates can now access their provisional allotment status through KEA official website. According to KEA, provisional seat allotment has been prepared based on the options entered by the eligible candidates till 11.30 am on 9th July 2026. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional allotment can submit their objections online till 5.00 pm on 14th July 2026. After the first final verification by KEA, the objections will be published.

The objection period is open until July 14

Candidates who wish to raise objections against the provisional award may submit their objections to 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2026via e-mail to keauthority-ka@nic.in.Direct Link to Check and Download Results: https://cee.kerala.gov.in/keam2026/ KEA has clarified that objections will be entertained only in specific cases, including discrepancies in the published provisional result or situations where verified options of the candidate have been entered but no seat has been allotted. Requests resulting from failure to enter preferences or requests to modify previously submitted options will not be accepted. The authority has also stated that no changes are allowed to the option entries at this stage of the admission process.

Final award after verification

After consideration of the objections received within the stipulated period, KEA will publish the final result of the first round seat allotment. Candidates for the allotted seats in the final list will have to report to their provisionally allotted colleges as per the admission schedule notified by the authority. KEA has advised the candidates to visit their official website regularly for notifications and updates related to the counseling process. The authority has stated that it will not be responsible for the consequences arising from the failure of candidates to comply with the notifications or instructions published on the portal.
