Despite the decline, the drama continues to be respectable and is now inching closer to the Rs 190 crore mark at the worldwide box office.According to reports from Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 55 lakhs in India on the 18th day. This represents a decrease of 71.1 percent compared to the 1.90 crore earned on the 17th day.
The collections in India cross Rs 130 crore
‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has taken the all India collection to Rs 130.10 crore. The film’s collection in India currently stands at Rs 154.63 crore.The overseas market also helped the film’s success. On day 18, the drama collected Rs 25 lakhs worldwide, taking its total overseas earnings to Rs 32.85 crore.The film has now earned a worldwide total of Rs 187.48 crore.
Attendance drops on the third Monday
The film recorded an all-India audience of 8.22 percent. Morning shows registered a 3.92 percent audience. The numbers improved during the afternoon, reaching 9.62 percent. The evening shows recorded 8.31 percent, reflecting the week’s performance after a strong week.
The story follows an actor caught up in an unexpected crisis
The film focuses on Rajeev, played by Akshay Kumar, an actor who is struggling to revive his career after delivering several unsuccessful films. His future seems to change when he signs an unusual project promising new opportunities.However, things take an unexpected turn in one village when they fall foul of an incoming army.
