Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Deputy Prime Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai after the actor-politician underwent surgery on his right shoulder.Chandrababu Naidu met Pawan Kalyan, his wife Anna Konidala, and the team of doctors who were supervising his treatment. The Chief Minister inquired about his health and received updates on his recovery after surgery. Ministers Narayana and Anagani Satya Prasad accompanied him on the visit to the hospital.After meeting Pawan Kalyan, Naidu shared a message on social media wishing him a speedy recovery. He wrote, “I visited Deputy Prime Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, who is undergoing treatment in Mumbai today. I wish him a speedy recovery. @PawanKalyan.”
Doctors say the surgery went well
According to TOI City, the medical team has confirmed that the surgery was completed successfully and Pawan Kalyan is recovering. Doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable and that he is responding well to treatment.Talking to the media after the visit, Chandrababu Naidu said that the surgery took about three and a half hours and was performed by a team of specialized doctors.He also said that Pawan Kalyan has been advised to take adequate rest before gradually returning to his role. As part of recovery, doctors recommend about three weeks of physiotherapy.Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the deputy chief minister will return to work after completing his reform programme.
Doctors are monitoring the condition of the left shoulder
Apart from the right shoulder surgery, doctors also diagnosed a problem with Pawan Kalyan’s left shoulder.However, the medical team decided not to continue treatment immediately. Instead, they will reassess the condition in six months before deciding whether surgery or physiotherapy alone will be sufficient.Chandrababu Naidu also said that Pawan Kalyan has been suffering from shoulder injuries for several years.
Pawan Kalyan is eager to get back to work
Although doctors have advised him to focus on recovery, Pawan Kalyan says he is eager to resume his roles soon.Chandrababu Naidu said the Deputy Chief Minister expressed his desire to return to the party earlier even though he was advised to prioritize rest and rehabilitation.
