With all eyes on his character, Qureshi shared that he hopes the film will inspire many more. In an interview with PTI to promote the film, the actress went deep to find out what it was like to work for her.He began by discussing the character, sharing that “The fact that he is good-looking but such a murderous killer is what makes the story so interesting… We just wanted to create a very relatable character. The kid is someone you just meet in Mumbai and don’t pay attention to. I think there could be a lot of improvement when it comes to writing good parts.”She also spoke about the roles that women often play in acting and entertainment, and shared her opinion that stars often have sex with such men. He added, “Women have to wear these tight, sexy clothes to kill. I think it comes from the father. “Also, speaking about the film, he said, “I think that when you think about people, especially women with disabilities, you only think that you are weak; you only think that they are weak. Here you had a hitwoman, who is a killer and a tool to destroy many people. However, she has a disability that is not really her weakness; it is her strongest asset.”

How Huma Qureshi filmed ‘Baby Do Die Do’

The actor also shared an insight into how he got the part and what made him accept the script in the first place. He shared that he came across the record about 4 years ago, and since then he has been a fan of singing. Giving more information, he said, “I decided that I wanted to do something. When I didn’t find the right producer, we decided to make it under my production company called Saleem Siblings, and I like that it’s pulpy, it’s cool, it has a hit woman, and it’s deaf and dumb, and it has a gun.

‘Baby Do Die Do’ was directed by Nachiket Samant and released recently on July 3. Apart from Huma Qureshi who plays the lead role of the killer, Baby Karmarkar, the film also has names like Sikandar Kher as Zafar, Chunky Panday as PM Jain, Seema Pahwa as Anjum Khan and Rachit Singh as Siddhu.The actress spoke about the film and said that it is “quirky, it’s fun, it’s funny and musical because it has an original script and a very unique look.” He also praised Samant for his work and his approach to the script, and shared that it translates well on screen.

How Huma Qureshi prepared for this role

Since the main role is to portray a person who is deaf and mute, Qureshi had to prepare a lot for the film. He revealed that he was well trained in sign language and visited schools for children with special needs.“I had a teacher who taught me sign language. I also went to a school for children with special needs and … who could not speak or hear…I learned a lot by talking to the children,” he said.On the work front, Qureshi will also be in ‘Toxic’ alongside Yash. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is scheduled to release on August 26. Initially, the film was supposed to release on March 19, which was delayed to June 4.
