Ahmed Khan‘s star-studded action-comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, which has a team led by Akshay KumarSuniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, continues to impress the family audience till its second week. Although we faced a lot of trouble due to the release of YRF’s spy thriller ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, the third installment of the show ‘Welcome’ has been doing well. After successfully crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in the second weekend, the film is now on a positive trajectory as it crosses its second week of mid-week. Having already crossed Rs 115 crore nett on Day 10, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has now entered the preparation phase during the week, with Day 11 seeing a bigger draw as shows continue to be shared with ‘Alpha’ and Ajay Devgn directed ‘Dhamaal 4’ on July 10.

The film launched its theatrical run, grossing a domestic revenue of Rs. 63.75 crore with an international revenue of Rs. 93.45 crore in its opening weekend, largely driven by Sunday’s tally of Rs. 24.75 million. Following the usual dip on Monday to Rs. 8.50 crore, the film took Rs. 9.25 crore on Tuesday. However, it declined sequentially throughout the week, down to Rs. 6.15 crore on Wednesday and Rs. 5.50 crore on Thursday, ending its first week with an all-India gross of Rs. 93.15 million.Entering its second week, Day 8 (Friday) brought in Rs. 4.50 crore nett, pushing the domestic total to Rs. 97.65 crore and worldwide to Rs. 143.72 million. The second weekend came back strong, Day 9 (Saturday) bringing in Rs. 7.50 crore net (crossing the domestic box office of Rs. 100 crore at Rs. 105.15 crore net and Rs. 154.14 gross worldwide) with Day 10 (Sunday) peaking at Rs. 9.75 crore net, bringing the total to Rs. 114.90 crore (India net) and Rs. 166.75 crore (worldwide). On Day 11 (Monday), the film added Rs. 2.65 crore net to close its India net at Rs. 117.55 crore and its worldwide revenue is Rs. 170.35 million.
