Lokesh Kanagaraj spoke about the rumors in recent public events and strongly refuted the claims that the cinema universe was kept in a conversation with News 18. “There was a lot of noise that LCU was closed. I can even close G Squad if the situation demands, but I can’t close LCU. In fact, I did not create this name. It was the fans who started the term on social media, and I just accepted it. Even today, I continue to follow this idea,” he said. His words immediately reassured fans worried about the future of the connected franchise.

LCU is not closed. It will continue. After I finish Allu Arjun’s boss film, I will come back to these things. ‘Benz,’ which is being produced under my banner, is also part of LCU,” he said.
